Experience
I am currently completing a Master's in Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bellevue University, expected to graduate in May 2025, and hold a Master’s in Education from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education, as well as a B.A. in Psychology, both from Yeshiva University.
My clinical approach is deeply informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) alongside other evidence-supported approaches. ACT’s core philosophy—embracing one's thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them—resonates through my counseling, where I emphasizes psychological flexibility and mindful behavior. By integrating strategies from ACT, I help clients develop a richer, more meaningful life by accepting what is out of their personal control and committing to actions that align with their values and enhance their well-being. My experience as an Executive Functioning Coach further complements this approach, as it aids clients in setting realistic goals, managing emotions, and enhancing self-awareness, which are critical aspects of ACT. My educational background in psychology and ongoing graduate training in mental health counseling support his application of these evidence-supported practices effectively, ensuring a compassionate, value-driven therapeutic environment for my clients.
